Description
Echinacea is one of the oldest plants that has been used in
herbal medicine. Echirich is a single herb preparation of
Echinacea, which contains the main active constituents; are the
Alkamides, Glycoprotein, Caffeic acid derivatives (Cichoric acid
and Echinocide), act as an anti-viral, antiseptic, and modulate
the immune system in the presence of Polysaccharides. Echinocide
and Cichoric acid protect collagen from harmful effects. Echinacea purpura acts against influenza, herpes, and skin inflammation caused by the herpes simplex virus. Used as a contusive treatment for
chronic infection of the respiratory tract, cold-cough, and urinary
tract infection.
